RV6 understood the rasp that can often plague the 9th gen Accord and V6 engines in general. That is why they made this Double Resonated Midpipe. The full 2.5” 304 stainless exhaust system can be used in tandem with other high performance exhaust components, or as a standalone. Simply running two of the same resonators in parallel is redundant - they are designed to handle a certain frequency range. Two different resonators were selected, each targeting a different resonance to mitigate the ear pain and replace it with a high-strung roar. This setup tames the beastly rasp of a high-flow long tube RV6 Jpipe (#RV6-MID-01-03).
Build quality was equally as important as the exotic exhaust tone. That’s why RV6 hand TIG welds all the joints. To ensure it looks just as good on the inside, the system is first back purged for purity. The layout is carefully considered for optimal flow and ground clearance. An underbody brace is provided to allow for resonator clearance.
