DC Sports Cat-Back Exhaust - 1994-2001 Acura Integra Sedan
Want your four-door Integra to sound better without being obnoxiously loud? The DC Sports cat-back exhaust replaces your factory exhaust from the catalytic converter back with 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steel piping. Your factory exhaust is restrictive and it's made from mild steel that rusts out. The DC Sports exhaust flows way better and it's made from T-304 stainless steel that doesn't rust. You're getting sharper throttle response, a cleaner VTEC transition, and more pull at the top end. DC Sports dyno'd this exhaust at up to 12 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque on a mildly modified B18. If you want your four-door Integra to sound and perform better, this is what you need.
Here's Why You Need a Better Exhaust
Your factory exhaust is crush-bent, which pinches the pipe diameter at every bend and restricts flow. The factory exhaust also uses mild steel that rusts from the inside out. After 20-30 years, your factory exhaust is probably rusted through or it's close to failing. The DC Sports exhaust uses mandrel-bent 2.5" piping, which keeps the pipe diameter consistent through every bend. Mandrel bending flows way better than crush bending. You're also getting T-304 stainless steel construction that doesn't rust. The exhaust is TIG-welded, so the welds won't crack or fail from vibration.
Sounds Good Without Being Annoying
The DC Sports exhaust has a resonated mid-pipe and a straight-through muffler. At idle, you'll hear a deep, smooth tone. It's not loud. When you're on throttle, the tone sharpens and you'll hear your VTEC crossover clearly. When you're cruising on the highway in fifth gear, the exhaust calms down and you can have a conversation or listen to music without shouting. If you're looking for a straight-pipe or muffler delete level of volume, this exhaust isn't that loud. It's louder than stock but it's not obnoxious.
Mirror-Polished Single-Wall Tip
The exhaust has a mirror-polished 4.0" single-wall tip. The tip sits tight to your rear bumper, so it doesn't sag or stick out too far. It looks clean and OEM-plus instead of looking like a cheap bolt-on cannon tip.
Ground Clearance on Lowered Cars
The exhaust routes over your rear cross-member in a straight shot, so you're not scraping the exhaust on speed bumps or driveways when your car's lowered. If you're running lowering springs or coilovers, you'll still have ground clearance.
