DC Sports Muffler Delete Kit - 2020-2025 Nissan Sentra
The B18 Sentra got a lot right. Good looks, well equipped, and a genuine improvement in ride and handling over what came before. What it didn't get was much in the way of performance, and being CVT-only means the usual tuning routes are largely closed off. We built this kit for exactly that problem: a complete stainless system that removes the heavy, restrictive factory muffler and gives the car an exhaust note worth hearing.
Why Options Are Limited On This Car
Worth understanding, since it explains why a muffler delete matters more here than it would on another platform.
The CVT rules out a lot of what enthusiasts normally reach for. No gearing changes, no clutch and flywheel work, and a transmission that's not friendly to big power increases even if you found them.
That leaves exhaust, and specifically the muffler, which is where Nissan put the most restriction and the most weight. It's why we developed this kit rather than a full system. On a platform with few options, we wanted the one that actually does something.
Over 10 Pounds Gone
The factory muffler assembly is heavy, and it sits at the very back of the car where mass does the most to blunt how willing it is to change direction.
Removing more than ten pounds from the rear overhang isn't going to transform the Sentra, but it's real weight from the right place, and it comes along with the noise and the flow improvement rather than costing you anything.
Better Flow, Better Response
The factory muffler is a restriction, and removing it lets the engine breathe out more freely. What you notice day to day is improved throttle response more than a peak power figure, which on a CVT car is arguably the more useful gain anyway.
Being honest about scale: this is a naturally aspirated commuter engine, so nobody should expect a transformation. What you get is a car that feels more responsive and sounds considerably more interesting than it did.
Polished Or Burnt Tip
Two finishes, and it's purely a look.
Polished chrome (MDS4422) is the clean option. Bright, traditional, and it suits a car you're keeping tidy. It works against any paint color.
Burnt stainless (MDS4422BT) is the bolder choice. Heat-treated stainless takes on a color gradient no coating quite matches, and it reads as more aggressive without being loud about it.
Both are stainless, so both hold up. Pick whichever suits the rest of the car.
Bolt-On, No Modifications
Nothing to cut, nothing to weld, nothing to fabricate. It bolts into place using the factory mounting points, which means an afternoon in the driveway rather than a shop visit.
It's also reversible, so if you ever want the car back to stock, the original muffler goes right back on.
